Flu Prevention Tips

Please keep in mind the following preventive measures to help stop the spread of flu:
  • Wash your hands often.
  • Use tissues and discard them immediately.
  • Stay home if you have a fever or a cough.
  • Avoid contact with other people who are sick.
  • Clean common household surfaces often - refrigerator door, faucet handles, etc… and especially those that young children come into contact with.

The majority of flu cases can be treated with over-the-counter medication, rest, and re-hydration. If your child begins to experience respiratory distress or dehydration, contact your pediatrician immediately.
